Pre & Post Natal Training
Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy can be one of the most beautiful and challenging times for a woman and her body.  Not only are you adapting to the physical changes taking place, but also to fluctuating energy levels, hormone variations and the natural apprehension and excitement that come as an expectant mother.  Allowing your body plenty of time to rest and recuperate is extremely important, but it's equally as crucial to tone and strengthen the muscles associated with childbirth and to keep your body in a low-stress state.  We will incorporate elements of pregnancy-safe strength training (modified to consider your trimester and any specific challenges you may be facing), pre-natal yoga and meditation & mindfulness into your practice.

Having had two children myself, I have a deep understanding of the unique set of challenges that come with taking care of a pregnant body.  Together, we will find a self-care routine that will work with your pregnancy to have you feeling your very best when the time comes to bring your baby into the world.

The days, weeks and months directly after giving birth can also be met with some uncertainty, as your body, once more, changes and shifts into its new normal.  I will be right by your side through this time, as well, helping you to navigate these new waters and working to rebuild strength, re-tone your body and learn to love this new skin you're in!
